Community Inclusion Specialist I

The Arc’s Community Inclusion Specialist provides skills training to individuals who live independently or with their family in Kitsap and Mason counties. This position uses person-centered planning approaches to develop daily living skills such as budgeting, housekeeping, shopping and food preparation, socialization, recreation, and transportation. They work in community settings with a high degree of flexibility and creativity to support the needs of the individual with IDD.
Extra Help - Dance Staff
The Friday Night Social at The Arc of the Peninsulas exists to provide an enjoyable and social outlet for adults in the community who have been diagnosed with an intellectual and/or developmental disability. The dance is a lively, fast-paced, uplifting environment for over 200 attendees. The dance is held each Friday (except holiday weekends) from 4 pm to 7 pm. Live DJ/music and snack food are provided to all participants and caregivers.
Donation Route Driver I
The Route Driver will be responsible for delivering and swapping recycling bins and carts as needed. Run local routes to service The Arc clothing recycling bins, and collection of materials from partner agencies and bringing these collected materials to the warehouse located in Bremerton for processing. **Please note that this is a highly physical position.**
Material Handler I (Warehouse Laborer)
The warehouse laborer position has the responsibility of assisting transportation in the loading and unloading of material from company trucks and contractors into the warehouse for efficient processing. The position may involve processing unloaded material, recycling, and general cleaning through a variety of mechanisms, including the use of rolling carts, pallet jack lift truck, and manual labor. **Please note that this is a highly physical position.**
Material Handler II (Forklift Operator)
This position is a hybrid position; the incumbent will collect, handle, process, and prepare all raw-materials received into finished-materials for warehouse inventory storage, sale, and shipment to the customer. Additionally, the incumbent employee will be responsible for loading and unloading material while utilizing a forklift in the warehouse facility.
