Christopher J. Tibbs

President & CEO

Christopher J. Tibbs, is currently the President & CEO The Arc of the Peninsulas. The Arc, is a member (client) driven nonprofit agency whose paramount mission is to improve advocacy for all citizens with an intellectual or developmental disability. The Arc of the Peninsulas was founded in Bremerton, Washington, on February 9, 1938.

Mr. Tibbs is committed to The Arc’s mission of effective advocacy and supporting parents, family members, self-advocates, volunteers, community members, and others who continue to work tirelessly on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc has helped to create new opportunities that have brought about significant changes in public perception and opened new doors to more independent and productive lives.

Before joining The Arc, Mr. Tibbs served as a public policy consultant for various public agencies, including Mason County and Kitsap Transit.

Mr. Tibbs resides in Bremerton, and he enjoys spending his free time with his nieces Raven Anne and Taylor Marie.
