Our organization always appreciates the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making The Arc of the Peninsulas an even better Non-Profit Organization than it already is. We want to provide you with the correct and appropriate information pertaining to your mode of support, so don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions.
Cleaning out your closets, garage or storage unit? The Arc especially needs clothing, shoes and small, usable household items. Your donation helps people with developmental disabilities throughout Western Washington! Call for a listing of pick-up dates in your area! Additionally, you can you can donate your items at one of our 25 easy and convenient donation bins!

Acceptable Items for Donation
All items must be undamaged and in ready-to-sell condition to be accepted!!
We DO NOT ACCEPT
furniture, baby furniture, shelving, hangers, pillows, food, liquids, board games, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, car seats, heavy exercise equipment, mattresses, box springs, large appliances, or gas-powered items such as lawn mowers.
Items acceptable for PICK-UP
The following is a list of the items that we are able to pick up. There is a high need for items in bold.
Clothing, coats, jackets (men’s, women’s, children’s)
Shoes and purses
Curtains and drapes
Fabric, thread and patterns
Floormats and wall hangings
Portable sewing machines
Jewelry and watches
Records, tapes, CD’s
Dishes, silverware, and cookware
Toys, dolls, books
Recreational & camping gear
Tools and toolboxes
Pictures and paintings
Personal electronics (mp3 players,cd players, radios, cameras)
Hampers and storage containers
We DO NOT accept furniture at any of our drop-off locations.
