Community Guide (Kitsap County)

The Guide provides one to one support to the participants who are in the Community Guide & Engagement program. The Guide is responsible for daily notations and other associated record keeping. They are to provide support which assists in fostering inclusion and independence.The position requires a high level of project management and independent task-management responsibilities, consistent with best practices in providing services to our participants. Community Guide Services increase the access to informal and generic community supports resulting in services that are short-term and designed to develop creative, flexible, sustainable, and supportive community resources for individuals with developmental disabilities.
